Only 2 more months of my hiking season. I don't go hiking in the summer out here, which lasts from May-October because it's way too hot. However I have done it before. It's possible to go between 5am-9am. After that your cooked. Literally 🥵
This weekend we did went to San Tan Mountain, which is the closest to my home. We hiked the Goldmine trail. 2 people stopped us and warned us about a rattlesnake up ahead. We ended up not running into him. Thank God. I really love the desert, and everything about it except insects, snacks, mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes etc...
