We attended the Down Syndrome Network Christmas Party for the first time this year. I can admit we never went before because I didn't think Amarissa would behave. It's very difficult taking her anywhere. But she did a great job till the end when she tried jumping in the fountain, then we knew it was time to go home. But we had a great time, she even liked Santa. I'm so happy there are organizations out there like this to support our girl and the rest of the Down Syndrome community.
