Amarissa got burned by some oatmeal. Apollo had made some oatmeal for her. He thought she was going to put it in the freezer to cool down. But instead she brought ot in my room. AZ saw it and got jealous that Apollo didn't make him any and he pulled the oatmeal from her and it spilled on the floor and got her toe pretty bad.
At first it was just pink,
but then it started to blister. Her pediatrician told us to head over to the burn center.
They broke up the blisters and it revealed this under it.
But yesterday it was looking like this. It's been about 2 weeks now.
We went last week to the burn center last week and one toe is healed but the other one isn't so we have to go back again this week. I have to change the dressing everyday. She has been a good sport about it. I was so worried that she would take the bandage off but she kept it on. I guess it really hurts.
She calls it her pretty bandaid.
