For fall break we went back up to Page Arizona. I think Page and the surrounding areas are some of the most beautiful spots in the state.
Our 1st stop was Navajo Bridge, where we could look down at the Colorado river. I also bought earings from a Navajo sister.
Then we drove to Paria beach and dipped our feet in the Colorado river and saw some cool structures along the way.
We then went to the hotel. It was so beautiful. We had views of the Vermillion cliffs and Glen Canyon Dam.
Right across the street from the hotel Jason and I went to a look out spot to watch the sun go down past the Vermillion cliffs. Lot's of people had the same idea.
While we were there Jason and the boys worked out 2 times at the gym.And the breakfast at the hotel was a hit with everyone.
The next day we went to the famous horseshoe bend.
I hate to see people risking their lives to sit on a cliff and get that picture. They do this at the Grand Canyon a lot. Speaking of the Grand Canyon we were suppose to go when we were leaving but we had a flood watch and lots of rain due to remnants of a hurricaine.
Next we went to the vistors center at the dam and then drove into Utah to have lunch near lone Rock. Then back into Arizona for some ice cream.
I wanted to walk all the way to lone rock but Amarissa wouldn't be able to keep up. I took a picture of sea shells on the ground.Lake Powell use to come all the way up here.
